Romanian DIY retailer Ambient has increased its turnover last year by EUR 30 million to a total of EUR 135 million. The company hasn’t opened any new outlets last year, the growth coming from repositioning the business, said company representatives.

Ambient is currently made up of two divisions targeting the company’s main types of clients: Retail and Distribution. The company has a network of 14 stores and 2 logistics centers.

The company, which is entirely Romanian owned, was established in 1993 and opened its first DYI store in 2002 in Sibiu.
