Biofarm marks the centenary with its anniversary campaign “Investing in the future for 100 years”

The Romanian manufacturer of medicines and food supplements Biofarm celebrates its centenary this year and marks the event through an anniversary campaign with the message “Investing in the future for 100 years”.

 

From the very beginning, Biofarm has focused its actions on developing products to the highest standards, in accordance with the needs of consumers. The company’s expertise and product quality are still recognized today. In fact, in the Biofarm portfolio there are still products that have passed the test of time, such as Carmol, on the market since 1928, Triferment and Anghirol, two of the best known brands, launched in 1959, Cavit, essential in the harmonious development of children, released in 1964, or Colebil, the expert on biliary problems which is still the market leader today, more than 50 years after its launch.

As a leading manufacturer in the pharmaceutical industry, Biofarm focuses on always keeping pace with the requirements of an extremely competitive market, including at brand image level. Thus, in preparation for the anniversary, in 2019, the company revitalized its visual identity that translates into a modern approach the values ​​of the brand (responsibility, performance, innovation, care for people and passion for identifying the best solutions for their health).

Currently, the Biofarm portfolio covers the most important therapeutic areas in the Consumer Healthcare division (digestive & metabolic, respiratory & ENT, cardiovascular & circulatory, nervous system, multivitamins), with over 20 representative brands and is constantly developing and improving.

After 100 years, innovation remains the engine that supports the evolution of Biofarm and the main development pillar for the company. In this direction, in 2021 the manufacturer started the production of food supplements in the new production unit also located in Bucharest, which is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and installations that contribute to increasing production and expanding into new markets.
