For the second year in a row, the Romanian full-service media agency United Media Services is present in Adweek’s independent agencies’ global top (Adweek Global Top 75: Fastest Growing Agencies). Moreover, the agency succeeded in climbing some positions since last year’s edition, reaching number 65. The result is even more significant as in the top there are present only 6 media agencies, United Media Services being the only Romanian agency no matter the category of services offered.
Adweek’s top honors the best 75 agencies worldwide, in all categories, from B2B consultancy to digital marketing, tech, media or creative. To be eligible for Adweek’s Fastest Growing list, agencies provided three years of earned revenue, from 2018 to 2020, and had at least USD 250,000 in revenue in 2018. Participating agencies were required to certify the accuracy of their reported revenue figures and Adweek performed additional auditing to determine the accuracy of the submissions.
“Adweek is one of the main international communication magazines that I have been reading and respecting for many years now. Therefore, this position in the top of the agencies with the biggest growth represents for me a great honor and recognition of the work we do every day. I am happy to see that the passion and dedication my team and I are investing in each campaign are appreciated and have significant and quantifiable results. The fact that we were included for the second year in a row also demonstrates our consistency in the business, given the fact that for 15 years we are evolving continuously to keep our relevancy and to keep our position in the forefront of our advertising market, a dynamic industry, with strong and well-established players. We will continue to invest in developing our digital services offer, in adopting new technologies and in conducting in-depth consumer studies to understand always better the trends of the markets our clients are activating on.” said Dana Bulat, General Manager, United Media Services.
Adweek 75: Fastest Growing top’s results can be accessed here and in the latest print issue, launched on October 4th in New York.

„If running an agency before the pandemic was difficult, heading one up while the world was in lockdown was a Sisyphean task. As Covid-19 descended upon the global ad industry, agencies scrambled to figure out ways to stay afloat during one of the most disruptive periods in advertising. Some resorted to massive layoffs, others folded or were acquired by bigger agencies and holding companies, but some rose to the challenge and were able to not just stay in business, but also chart a course to profitability while avoiding layoffs entirely,” said Kyle O’Brien, Adweek’s representative.
