Nicoleta Eftimiu (Coca-Cola Romania) is jury president of Effie Awards 2018

Nicoleta Eftimiu, franchise country manager Coca-Cola Romania, was appointed jury president of Effie Awards 2018. She has been leading Coca-Cola in Romania since January 2017.

“I started my career in an agency and I continued, as a marketing person, to handle the Coca-Cola campaigns in Romania from inside the company, therefore the marketing remains for me a fascinating field and the perfect playground for innovation. I believe that the performances will be seen this year as well where the brands have put the consumer in the center and have come up with creative solutions for their needs,” said Eftimiu.

She has almost two decades’ worth of experience, time in which worked directly or indirectly for Coca-Cola. She started working as account director for the brand, in the agency, then joined the Coca-Cola HBC Romania team as category manager Stills and New Business. The next step was towards Coca-Cola Romania where he held both local and regional positions, from brand manager to marketing director.

The Romanian Effie Awards 2018 Jury comprises over 100 communication specialists, clients’, advertising and research agencies’ representatives, as well as CEOs of the communication groups.

The judging process has two stages: June 4-5 and June 11. The Finalists’ event will take place on June 7, while the Effie Awards 2018 Gala on June 14.
