Netflix announces its first Turkish original series

Netflix, the biggest online network in the world which is also present in Romania, continues the investments in the international productions and announces its first original series from Turkey.

Starting from a heroes action story, inspired by the history and the Ottoman and Turkish legends, the 10 episodes’ series will be written and produced in Turkey and is estimated to be launched for the Netflix subscribers, worldwide, in 2018.

The TV series is produced for Netflix by the O3 Medya studio from Istanbul and Onur Guvenatam is the executive producer

„We are sure that this new genre of production will be an important step for our market and will resonate not only with the audience in Turkey, but will also have a global success,” said Onur Guvenatam, co-owner/producer O3 Medya.
