IAA Romania appoints a new Board

The General Assembly of the Romanian chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) has elected a new Board and committee in charge with organizing the local version of the Effie Awards.

The elected board will lead the association from 2018 to 2020. IAA Romania’s board includes:

• President: Valer Hancas (Kaufland Romania)
• Representatives from agencies: Mihai Trandafir (McCann Group); Andreea Dinescu (Mullen Lowe); Alex Badila (Publicis) and Lorand Balint (Propaganda)
• Clients’ representatives: Giulia Burlui (Coca-Cola); Oana Mateescu (Ursus Breweries); Roxana Baias (Telekom) and Maria Predoiu, who will become a Board member after ending her term as president.
• Mass media representatives: Lucia Antal (ProTV) and Sorin Enache (Euromedia Group)

The committee in charge with organizing the Romanian version of the Effie Awards in 2019 includes:

President: Victor Stroe (Leo Burnett)
