Advertising Unplugged by Gabriel Eremia, a news learning and development platform for the advertising industry

Gabriel Eremia, professional with over 15 years of experience in the development and implementation of integrated marketing, communication and product management strategies, launches Advertising Unplugged, a learning and improvement platform for advertising enthusiasts.

The platform debuts with the podcast of the same name, which addresses various and current topics from the world of marketing, advertising and communication, revealing real, authentic stories, as well as “behind the scenes” experiences from the Romanian marcomm. The Advertising Unplugged podcast aims to speak to advertising enthusiasts, regardless of whether they work in a company or agency.

“Progress starts from a shared space, from the intersection of budding talent and generations with solid experience, and Advertising Unplugged aims to become that bridge. The industry needs young professionals with a fresh vision and I’m glad to see that the new generation is increasingly attracted to brands that rely on brave communication. Advertising Unplugged aims to bring this side of the industry to the fore, delve into the challenges it faces and help advertising enthusiasts understand what each role entails, so they can then specialize in a certain area”, says Gabriel Eremia.

The first season of the podcast consists of 17 episodes and 15 guests – professionals from the marcomm industry, from agencies or companies, but also from other creative industries – and totals more than 20 hours of footage.

The podcast also includes a strong social component and supports fundraising for Asociația Lumea Emei, which finances the therapies and medical investigations needed by Ema, Gabriel’s little girl, who needs help to have a chance at a normal life after being diagnosed with an ultra-rare genetic mutation.

The team that produces the Advertising Unplugged podcast consists of: Gabriel Eremia (host), Alexandra Pascu (writer & co-host), Vlad Geană (photo & video), ALL MAD Studio (Branding & Animation).

“I joined this project from the belief that the industry needs closer collaboration between generations, and Advertising Unplugged aims to meet this need. I am happy to be able to share my experience and be part of an initiative that brings together under the same umbrella so many energies from the industry”, says Mădălin Dragnea, Creative & Motion Director, ALL MAD Studio.

Advertising Unplugged is a learning ecosystem that combines theory with practice through a range of digital tools. In addition to the podcast, the new platform will include marketing courses, e-books, trainings and conferences intended to prepare on a practical level those who want to excel in a dynamic industry such as advertising, but also those who are considering a professional reconversion.
