Newsroom 25/06/2018 | 17:48

May’s Top 3 ADC shows the best works of the creatives in the sections, under the new format. May’s work of the month is Vodafone Istori@, by FCB Bucharest.

DIGITAL

In the section with the biggest number of entries in May we find on the first spot FCB Bucharest with Vodafone Istori@ – an educational initiative that means a new section of the Digital Library app, a project developed in partnership with Humanitas. The section introduces an innovative approach of reading the history lessons through cartoons. The project’s creative team is formed of Andrei Mihailescu (copywriter) and Sorin Tofan (art director).

The second place belongs to the campaign Studycoin by KFC that translates itself through a virtual coin thought by MRM // McCann Romania. Until July 31, the studycoins gathered individually can transform themselves in discounts in the KFC restaurants.

Supertop. Zid si facut takes the third spot in the top. The creation belongs to Friends\TBWA Bucharest and the client is Rigips® Super Top. Zinedine Zidar is the “superstar” of the video material, while the creatives are Theodor Chiripuci (copywriter) and Cristina Cazacu (art director).

There were also offered three accolades to:

  • No Romanian Left Behind– #NetLiberare –fromLeo Burnett Group / Publicis One Romania, client Telekom.
  • Paid to do Nothing–from Cake, for Iron Hostel·

Corectam pana ramane doar adevarul (We correct until there is only the truth left)– from Rusu+Bortun for Europa FM

PRINT

The first place goes to the DoR #32 cover, with the sculpture of Sleepless Codruta, created by Lea Rasovszky and photographed by Alex Galmeanu. According to them the “idea was born from the discussions about Laura Codruta Kövesi, the chief prosecutor of the Anticorruption National Direction– a symbol-character, that became synonym with the institution and the fight against corruption, a person who had statues raised and demolished.”

Black Button Books takes the section’s second place with the campaign Citeste ceva mai bun (Read something better), a pro-bono job by Friends\TBWA Bucharest. To this initiative of encouraging the reading the creatives Theo Nistor (art director) and Theodor Chiripuci (copywriter) contributed.

The third place goes to the series of prints created by a team of freelancers for World Vision. Incurajeaza un agricultor (Encourage a farmer). The team was formed by: Ioana Gheorghita – brand strategist, Mihai Costache – senior copywriter and Adrian AGI Iota – senior art director / illustrator.

TV

The number one goes to Headvertising for Faci asa, c-asa fac toti? (You do it because they all do it?) for ING Bank. The team was: Augustin Krysta (copywriter) and Teodor Minea (art director).

RADIO

The section only gets an accolade for the same campaign by Headvertising for ING.

OOH

The number one goes to the same winner as in the TV category, while a special accolade goes to McCann Worldgroup Romania for Dedeman: Cand cifra 7 este mult prea mare (When 7 is too big).

Seven out of 100,000 Romanians are the victims of deadly work-place accidents, therefore the campaign wants to attract the attention to the importance of respecting the safety rules. Therefore, the dog in Dedeman’s logo will no longer wear the safety helmet.
