Filip & Company assists Victoriabank in the acquisition of BCR Chisinau branch

Filip & Company law firm assists Banca Comercială Victoriabank S.A., one of the largest banks in the Republic of Moldova, on the conclusion of an agreement for the sale of the shares held by Banca Comercială Română in BCR Chișinău S.A., its subsidiary in the Republic of Moldova.

The closing of this transaction is subject to several conditions, including obtaining regulatory clearance.

Filip & Company acted as the buyer’s lead consultant and partnered with the Moldovan law firm Vernon on the local law components. The seller was assisted by Schoenherr și Asociații SCA, together with Schoenherr Moldova.
