Companies buying cash registries can submit through the Virtual Private Space of ANAF the documents in order to get the unique identification number for this kind of equipment.
Large and medium-sized companies are obliged to have the fiscal printers or the cash registries with electronic journal in operation by September 1. Small companies need to have this equipment operational by November 1.
In order to get their equipment registered, companies need to fill the Form C801. ANAF advises firms to submit the form on time to avoid overcrowding in the last days through to the deadline. Companies failing to register their equipment will be sanctioned by the tax administration agency.
