Inernational home improvement company Kingfisher announced the launch of the GoodHome brand, which it says will offer both amateurs and professionals a simpler way to upgrade their homes and will combine the digital and physical shopping experience with a new store concept.

The move marks the final transformation phase for Kingfisher, which in the past three years has unified its supply process, has developed new product and services and has invested in improving omnichannel digital experiences. With GoodHome, these innovations will be showcased through customers for the first time.

The new brand aims to revolutionise the home improvement market by offering unique products and solutions focused on design, superior quality and affordable prices. All of GoodHome’s ranges are conceived to simplify customer experience, with a focus on 11 of the most frequent home renovation and refurbishment projects.

Kingfisher is also testing a new GoodHome express store concept, in Wallington, UK.

The company says that GoodHome is the result of years of research into the way Europeans spend time in their homes of different shapes and sizes over various periods of time. GoodHome will respond to challenges faced by customers regarding home improvement through new solutions, affordable pricing, specialised information, simplicity and sustainability.

“Homes are important to people. They want to make them better and be proud of them. We started to set the foundations for a new and innovative experience for customers. GoodHome is the next exciting step in our transformation process, and the moment when transformation becomes clear to customers. GoodHome is our new proposal for home improvement for clients at the international level, and it is based on a deep understanding of our customers. It represents all the changes we’ve made – simple, sustainable, unique and innovative solutions, which are durable and affordable. GoodHome is the brand we associate with all that we do to make home improvement accessible to all: a new range of products, new services, new store concepts, our training centre and our new charitable foundation,” said Veronique Laury, the CEO of Kingfisher.

GoodHome products and services will be available online and in B&Q, Castorama and Brico Depot stores in the UK, France, Poland and Romania starting May 2019.
