INS: Managers expect 52 pct increase in Romania for the production of beverages

According to the National Institute of Statistics (INS), there will be a significant increase in June in the manufacture of beverages and for the production of other non-metallic mineral products (balances +52 percent and +46 percent, respectively), while for the manufacturing of tobacco products the tendency will be of decrease.

Also in June there will be an increase in the production volume of the construction activity for the next three months (balance+26 percent). Managers forecast a moderate increase in the number of employees (balance +10 percent). As to the prices of construction works, a relative stability is estimated (balance +5 percent).

In the retail trade sector, managers estimate a moderate growth tendency in the economic activity (balance +10 percent). A moderate growth is forecasted in the volume of orders placed by the trade units to the suppliers of goods (balance+7 percent). Employers forecast for the next three months a moderate decrease in the number of employees (balance-13 percent).

For the next three months, the managers of trade companies estimate a moderate increase of retail selling prices (balance+8 percent).

According to June estimations, the demand of services (turnover) will register a moderate growth in the next three months (balance+12 percent). In the services sector, a moderate growth  in the number of employees is forecasted (balance+8 percent).
