INATECH Packaging concludes a new partnership with the German corporate group Schaumaplast

INATECH Packaging, one of the largest suppliers of complete packaging solutions in Romania, announces the conclusion of a new strategic partnership with the German corporate group Schaumaplast. With THERMOCON, Schaumaplast has its own business unit for the development, production, and qualification of passive thermal packaging. These advanced solutions are used for shipping temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical and biotech products.

By strengthening the partnership, INATECH Packaging and the Schaumaplast group aim to expand in the pharmaceutical market and in the biotechnology field, two sectors that are proliferating in Romania, but also in other local markets, such as the food industry and e-commerce. Thus, INATECH Packaging is the first supplier in Romania to offer complete and pre-qualified solutions for the transport of temperature-sensitive products.

Thus, based on some pre-qualified tests, the entire protection system required to maintain cold (< – 15 degrees Celsius), cold (+2 to +8 degrees Celsius), or ambient (+15 to +25 degrees) temperature conditions is ensured Celsius), even at external temperature fluctuations, in response to the growing demand for passive cooling solutions on the Romanian market.

At the moment, most requests come from international distribution companies or local drug manufacturers, from all over the country.

Regarding the type of products, in 90% of cases, companies purchase complete protection solutions, thermal boxes with different capacities, and cooling elements used for the transport of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical and biotechnological products. Thus, in most cases, thermal box packaging for pallets, from the Pallet Line range, is requested for thermal transport for large quantities, up to 1,210 liters, for a period of up to 5 days, followed by those from the Classic range Line with a loading capacity of up to 70 liters.
