LEONI Wiring Systems reinforces its commitment to the principles of non-discrimination and equal opportunities and organizational culture based on mutual respect, trust, and diversity.

LEONI Romania launched a campaign starting in May to promote the new company’s values.  Signing the Diversity Charter took place at the beginning of this campaign, within the same time frame dedicated to promoting CARE Value – defined by empathy, acceptance, and support. These elements are crucial in an inclusive environment where each person that is working for LEONI should feel accepted, supported, and safe.

At LEONI, we believe that diversity is essential to our success. We are present around globally, with around about 100,000 colleagues. That is why we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that values employees of all genders, ages, ethnicities, and environments. By being one of the largest private employers in Romania, with nearly 12,000 employees across the country, we are responsible for providing equal opportunities for everyone in our organization and supporting the integration of individuals belonging to vulnerable social groups. Therefore, we build up our company’s community by promoting respect, empathy and understanding, so that everyone feels appreciated, heard, and empowered to contribute with their unique perspectives and talents,” stated Dr. Ursula Biernert, Chief Human Resources Officer at LEONI Group.

By signing the Diversity Charter in Romania, LEONI strongly states its dedication to diversity, enriching the company’s culture and recognizing its employees’ role as ambassadors. In Romania, LEONI already has a tradition of implementing initiatives that support integrating individuals from vulnerable environments through dedicated partnerships in our communities.
