Today, Gi Group announces a new stage in its evolution with the launch of Gi Group Holding (www.gigroupholding.com). The new corporate brand and the new business structure will further unify the strategic approach, thus consolidating the position of a world leader and top employer of the company in the human resources sector.

Headquartered in Milan, Italy, the Group which operates in 30 countries around the world coordinates the work of more than 6,000 employees and provides support to business partners by offering accurate information on the labor market. The new holding company – through all its key brands – provides services to around 20,000 companies and generates revenue of 3.3 billion euros, making it the fifth-largest company in Europe and the 16th largest in the world.

The main objective of Gi Group Holding is to generate added value to the “More than work” concept, supporting candidates in their daily lives and promoting positive and open environments by reiterating their commitment to creating pleasant and safe working environments. At the same time, the company offers collaborative jobs, where employees are free to express themselves and propose new ideas and solutions.

Stefano Colli-Lanzi, CEO of Gi Group Holding points out: “Today is an important day in the history of our company. Since 1998, Gi Group has grown and become one of the leaders of the human resources industry due to the invaluable contribution of employees around the world. Caring for people is the leitmotif of our company, and with the rebranding our mission is even clearer: to contribute to the development of a sustainable market and to emphasize the personal and social value of work.”

In the medium and long term, Gi Group Holding’s objectives are both to strengthen its position as a world leader in the human resources sector and to strengthen its position as a top employer and champion of sustainable work.

“The change of name highlights the performance in recent years. We have a high-performance business model which enjoys both quality management and a strategy applied to portfolios. Our activity is based on a solid organizational culture, so we want to communicate as a single company that has top institutions and customers. With the new rebranding, we inspire teams, business directions, and behaviors. In addition, we want to meet the needs of global customers by creating a real competitive advantage that makes a difference for candidates and supports the competitive advantage through digital transformation”, says Cristian Huzău, Country Manager Gi Group Romania.

Over the next 5 years, the Group’s business strategy will focus on consolidating in markets where the brand already has a strong presence (Italy, Brazil, UK, Germany, France, Poland, China, and Spain) and accelerating development in markets with high growth potential, through organic development and possible acquisitions. In addition, Gi Group Holding will focus on consolidating and improving its core segment, the temporary employment sector. Another strategic objective will be the orientation towards the qualified personnel segment, with considerable potential especially through the development of corporate relations.

At the heart of the strategy is the promotion of Sustainable Work: a red thread that is found in the Group’s work and whose goal is to raise industry standards by promoting activities that contribute to the shared responsibility for obtaining good living and working conditions to employees.

“The new concept – Sustainable Work – developed with this rebranding targets the people, companies, and institutions with which we collaborate. In short, we help people understand the meaning and value of their work, take care of their physical and mental well-being, invest in skills development, and build professional and leadership relationships. For companies the concept is defined both by improving resilience, prioritizing innovation, creating value, and investing in human capital and by promoting diversity and social inclusion. The institutions also benefit from the support of active labor policies, the fight against undeclared work and tax evasion, the promotion of sustainable flexibility, the reduction of skills mismatches, and the promotion of training to increase the employability rate of people”, explained Cristian Huzău, Country Manager Gi Group Romania.

The global ecosystem integrates Gi Group Holding services and resources to generate sustainable economic and social surplus value and to develop a pleasant work environment that is based, at the same time, on the concept of “work further”. In addition, it communicates the business’s ability to turn goals and values into concrete results. Thus, through the phrase “Changing Lives”, the global and complementary brands of the Group (Gi Group, Gi BPO, INTOO, Wyser, Grafton, and TACK / TMI) now offer solutions adapted to the business environment being ready to face the new challenges. The extensive expertise of each team is demonstrated by reducing response time and anticipating global and regional market trends.

The launch of Gi Group Holding is backed by a digital ecosystem, which includes a new global site (www.gigroupholding.com) and a dedicated LinkedIn page where news, information, and content will be shared with our global community.

Cumulated over the last 5 years, between 2017 and 2021, the Group recorded a 65% increase in revenues (+ 1.3 billion euros). In the current context, the positive results – along with this important step in the company’s history – underline the Group’s position in this market.

In Romania, the Group has offices in Bucharest (headquarters), Arad, Brașov, Cluj-Napoca, Iași, Oradea, Pitești, and Timișoara and offers services through 4 divisions (Gi Group, Grafton, Gi BPO, TACK/TMI and Wyser) which place over 5,000 candidates a year on the labor market.
