Equal inclusion and opportunities, support-based culture and creating a supportive environment for the employee, interesting and innovative projects, along with individual-centered wellbeing programs are some of the areas where Adobe Romania excels, receiving Great Place to Work certification. The certification was awarded in an international program that monitors the quality of life of employees in the companies where they work, based on a score obtained from anonymous answers from the team members.

Great Place to Work certification is based on anonymous employee evaluations and surveys applied to them, and is awarded annually. Questions that guide the analysis of the monitoring company include the opinion of the employees regarding the work environment, the level of security they feel at work, the benefits received, inclusion and equal opportunities, the management and culture of the employer.

Thus, Adobe Romania received scores of over 90% in terms of support provided by the company, the correct treatment and equal opportunities, as well as the level of safety from a physical point of view, an extremely important aspect for employees in the context of Covid -19. Similar scores were also obtained for the benefits – most employees consider that Adobe offers unique opportunities and would recommend Adobe as a job to family and friends.

Study participants mentioned the organization’s strengths as follows: “People are treated equally regardless of race, gender, or age” (96%), “We have a unique and special package of benefits” (91%), ” I am treated with empathy and receive support from my superior/ manager ”(91%) or the fact that“ I can be myself at work ”(91%).

The last almost two years have shown us how important the team is, maybe more than ever. We are pleased to see that our efforts – both in terms of the benefits offered and the challenges and innovative programs developed – are visible, and directly appreciated by employees, and that they have adapted and continued to perform in the new context. The number of Adobe Romania employees has increased in 2021 to over 850 and it is important to stay in constant contact with them, regardless of the size of the team. The new certification confirms that we are on the right track, says Cris Radu, Site Leader Adobe Romania and VP of Engineering.

High scores, of over 85% and above the European averages registered at the level of the analyzed companies, were also obtained in terms of employee training (89%), correct treatment by managers (88%), innovation in the work process (87%), team cohesion (89%) or general wellbeing status (87%).

Top financial and non-financial benefits

In addition to competitive salaries, Adobe Romania employees receive a high-performance package of financial benefits, such as stock exchange shares, as well as non-financial benefits, which include health insurance, settlement for sports equipment and reimbursement of expenses with home office.

The Romanian team has also been working from home since the beginning of March 2020, to reduce employee exposure. The company currently offers the possibility to opt for a work from home or hybrid program, ensuring flexibility in the work schedule.

From the beginning of the pandemic until now, the employees have received a financial support of 500 USD / person. The amount can be used by the employees for any equipment or products that will ensure their comfort in the home office. Also, the budget for a healthy lifestyle has been increased to $ 600 per employee and an additional 15 Global Days Off.

Company-wide employees directly affected by CoVid-19 receive an additional 20 days of paid annual leave. In addition, the concern for employees extends to areas beyond physical comfort, to emotional balance. Employees also can benefit, free of charge, from the services of a psychologist and the services of a financial consultant.
