SIGNAL IDUNA records a 34% increase in business compared to the same period of 2022

SIGNAL IDUNA ASIGURARE REASIGURARE, number 1 in health insurance on the Romanian market, according to the reports of the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) for the last 3 years, reports 30% growth in health insurance in the first half of 2023 compared to the same period last year.

The positive dynamics continued to be supported by comprehensive solutions, adaptable to any company, regardless of size and type of business, and to any family, reaching a volume of gross written premiums of over 137 million lei. The results registered at the company level of 154 million lei reconfirm the need for Romanians to benefit from financial protection in the face of the risks and uncertainties they face every day.

The first semester of the year also saw a 27% increase in the volume of gross written premiums compared to the same period last year for SIGNAL IDUNA ASIGURĂRI, which has a varied general insurance portfolio, exceeding 45 million lei. The increase was sustained by all lines of insurance, but the most significant increases were recorded in the buildings and property insurance segment by 40%, in the foreign medical insurance segment by 42%, in the home insurance segment by 28%, and in professional and general liability insurance by 22%.

We also plan double-digit growth for the coming period, both in the health and general insurance segments.
