Established in December 2018, in Bacău, the IOLA Center medical recovery clinic estimates a double turnover in 2021 compared to 2020, as a result of the investments in marketing and branding made in the first six months of this year.

IOLA Center’s turnover forecast for 2021 is 200,000 EUR, double that of 2020, when the clinic obtained 84,000 EUR from the physical, physio and ozone therapyervices offered to its patients. The expectation that the turnover will double is based on the increase of the investment in marketing and branding from the first six months of 2021, but also on the regained confidence of Romanians to access recovery services, which proved to be extremely beneficial in the operative prophylaxis.

Founded through an investment of approximately 1.4 million EUR, of which 650,000 EUR dedicated to state-of-the-art medical equipment, the clinic addresses patients in the region of Moldova and plans to expand to cities such as Iași and Bucharest. Currently, the clinic operates in Bacău, within the Trotuș Residence residential complex, located at kilometer zero of the city.

“In a context dominated by fear of getting sick with the SarsCov-II virus, Romanian didn’t focus on getting help for their health problems through physiotherapy. The return to a more relaxed lifestyle has led to an increase in the demand for the services that our clinic offer. We are glad to be able to receive our patients back in the clinic, because we know how much they need personalized treatments and constant monitoring of their progress. We have taken all the necessary hygiene and sterilization measures, so that both our patients and our employees are in complete safety,” said Ioana Berza, Founder of IOLA Center.

Ioana Berza foudned IOLA Center in 2018 as a result of a personal experience from the past, when, following a serious riding injury, she managed to avoid a difficult surgical operation with the help of physiotherapy. The interest for alternative medical recovery options determined her to pursue specialized studies at the University of Bacău and to reorient herself professionally, despite her previous studies and practice in another field of activity.
