Finnish plastics and chemicals distributor Telko enters the Romanian market

Plastic and chemical materials distributor Telko, part of the Finnish group Aspo, has announced it will establish a subsidiary in Romania, according to profit.ro.

The company has recently begun operations on the local market by opening a warehouse for Romania-based clients.

Telko has a history of over 100 years and it distributes plastics, industrial chemicals and lubricants in 18 countries in Europe, as well as Russia, China and the Middle East.

The company has around 300 employees and annual sales that exceed EUR 260 million.

Its parent Aspo Group operates four large subsidiaries – Telko, ESL Shipping, Leipurin and Kauko – and is listed on the Helsinki stock exchange.
