2Performant platform posts Q1 2023 growth of 40% in the value of sales generated

2Performant, a technology company and the leader of the affiliate marketing market in Romania, announces that sales generated by its platform reached 28.8 million euros (excluding VAT) in the first quarter of 2023, a 40% increase compared to the same period last year.


Platform users sent 24.5 million clicks, up 20% compared to the same period in 2022, resulting in 647,000 intermediated sales, a 59% increase, generating commissions worth 1.7 million euros, +34% compared to 2022.

The results generated by the users of our platform in the first quarter of the year continue the upward trend registered last year and create the conditions for exceeding the milestones reached in 2022 and reaching the targets proposed for 2023. An important part of this success is the technological innovations we are implementing, and we are continuously developing the 2Performant platform. Its technical complexity and the tools we use position us at the highest level of competence on a global scale. This year, we aim to accelerate the growth of our company so that we can contribute more and more to the development of the Romanian eCommerce sector,” stated Dorin Boerescu, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of 2Performant.

In the first quarter of 2023, the average affiliate earning per 100 clicks was 6.98 euros, a 12% increase compared to last year, while the return on affiliate marketing budgets per 1 euro invested was 16.8, up 4% compared to the same quarter in 2022. At the same time, the average value of sales through the 2Performant platform was at 44.5 euros (excluding VAT), down 12% compared to Q1 2022, with the conversion rate up 0.6pp to 2.6% in the period.

The main product categories sold in the first quarter of 2023 were: Pharmaceuticals, Fashion, Books, Beauty, Electronics IT&C, Home & Garden, Babies Kids & Toys, Health & Personal Care, Pet Supplies, and Jewellery. During the analyzed period, 2Performant’s top ten customers by the value of commissions generated were: Dr.Max, Answear, DY Fashion, SpringFarma, evoMAG, SomProduct, Cărturești, Kit Unghii, NailsUp, and Otter.

The results generated by 2Performant users are updated daily on the company’s website, where trends in online purchasing behavior are displayed both at the network level and broken down by main industries. The company intends to continue to publish such aggregated data at the end of each quarter so that shareholders and investors have a comprehensive understanding of the performance of 2Performant’s business indicators over a year of activity.

For 2023, the company targets a turnover of 48.6 million lei, an increase of 39% compared to the result in 2022, EBITDA of 2.6 million lei, a doubling compared to the previous year, and a net profit of 863 thousand lei, an increase of 234%.

2Perfomant is listed on the AeRO market starting as of December 9, 2020, and as of October 2021, 2P shares are included in the BET-AeRO index developed by the Bucharest Stock Exchange for this market.
