Datacor Records Significant Revenue Surge in H1 2023, Surpassing 7 Million Euros

Datacor, Romania’s electrical, telecom, and security systems provider, announces record financial performance for the first half of 2023. The company achieved a revenue milestone of over 7 million euros, attributing much of this success to its recently introduced Green Energy business division.

“We had an excellent performance in the first part of the year and we are confident that this trend will continue in the second half. For the whole year 2023, we have set ourselves a company-wide revenue of 15 million euros “, said Bogdan Bilegan, Chief Executive Officer of Datacor, commenting on the financial results.

In 2022, Datacor took a significant step in the sustainable energy sector, unveiling its Green Energy division. This new division is committed to aiding Romanian enterprises in their transition to renewable energy sources, offering a comprehensive suite of services. These range from initial planning, through legal compliance and documentation, to the maintenance of installed photovoltaic systems.

“Last year we made substantial investments in the development of the Green Energy division, both in advanced equipment for the easy installation of solar panels, and in the team development, so that we can quickly respond to the requests of our customers. The investments continued this year as well. We are in the process of implementing a project with European funds that involves the purchase of equipment for installing the structure of photovoltaic panels on the ground, as well as vans,” Bogdan Bilegan elaborated on the company’s forward-thinking approach.

The company’s commitment to excellence is evident in its portfolio, having successfully executed notable projects for esteemed clients like Decathlon Ploiești and the Karcher Bucharest headquarters. Ambitious undertakings are on the horizon for H2 2023, notably a 1 MW ground photovoltaic plant for Rombat, Copșa Mică, and advanced systems for Maternity Hospital Brasov.

Datacor’s strategic roadmap also hints at a broadened product and service portfolio, with a keen eye on the rising demand for energy storage solutions. Furthermore, the residential sector is set to benefit from the company’s focus, with the Datacor Smarthomes division aiming to cater to this segment.
