CreditAmanet, a market-leading company with over 15 years of experience, is allocating over one million euros to digitalization. While this direction has been present in previous years, in 2023, it has become a top priority in the development strategy, and the pace of integrating projects in this field has significantly accelerated.

The investments of the market-leading company are directed towards implementing an integrated electronic document management system, an ERP system, and the development of the e-commerce segment. Electronic signatures have been introduced in all territorial agencies of CreditAmanet, and the projects will continue with the development of two digital trading platforms.

“The digital transformation of the company is essential from the perspective of CreditAmanet’s growth, as it supports the capitalization of competitive advantages, positively influences interactions with customers, and has a beneficial impact on the community and the environment. Innovation is one of the values we bet on and want to implement in all our activities. It is correlated with digitization, which is no longer an option these days but a necessity to remain competitive in the long term. However, maintaining business performance is not the only reason we are focusing in this direction. We believe that sustainable company development can only be achieved today through environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policies adapted to the realities we live in. The integration of advanced technologies in businesses has effects on both the business and social environment. For this reason, we are investing over one million euros in digitalization, and we won’t stop here,” says the company’s CEO, Cosmin Popovici.

Cosmin Popovici emphasizes that digitalization is a complex, long-term, multifaceted process that will extend over an extended period. It represents a response to customer expectations and employee requirements. “Customer expectations have evolved with the advent of digital technology,” explains the company’s CEO, highlighting that different digitization projects address all categories of customers, both those who turn to pawn-type lending and retail customers. CreditAmanet is also a retailer of pre-owned electronic products, new gold jewelry, luxury bags, watches, and pre-owned diamond jewelry.

The CreditAmanet executive believes that investing in digitalization means a closer connection to customers and their needs. The availability of the company’s services through multiple channels, both physical and online, enhances the quality of customer interactions, makes their shopping experience more comfortable, and saves time, which Cosmin Popovici regards as “one of the most precious resources.”

“However, the benefits are not limited to customers. The CreditAmanet team, which is part of our success, enjoys more efficient, high-performance, and faster workflows, and the overall business strengthens its position in the relevant market. Implementing digitalization projects generates trust because it is correlated with taking responsibility for the impact on society and the environment,” Cosmin Popovici concludes.

CreditAmanet Reports Over 25% Increases in Turnover and Profit in the First Half of 2023

In the first half of 2023, CreditAmanet recorded consolidated financial results that were over 25% higher than in the previous year. The holding company with three lines of business (pawn, currency exchange, and mobile goods trading) reached a turnover of 42.31 million lei in the first half of 2023, an increase of 26.22% compared to 33.52 million lei in the same period last year. The company’s profit for the first half of the current year reached 4.44 million lei, a percentage increase of 24.11 compared to 3.58 million lei in the first half of last year. At the same time, the company has expanded its national network of agencies and opened a new operational point in Sibiu. This marks the implementation of a new layout concept, which focuses on facilitating customer interactions with CreditAmanet’s products and services and provides a premium shopping experience.

The company’s accelerated development and a 15% increase in staff compared to the previous year led to the need to relocate the main headquarters. In June, CreditAmanet inaugurated its “green” offices in Romania’s tallest building, SkyTower, with an investment in this project approaching 500,000 euros.

Intensifying the online presence and creating new facilities for customers are among CreditAmanet’s goals for the next financial year. For the second half of 2023, the Romanian company aims to maintain the same growth rate of 25% in all lines of business, both in terms of turnover and profit.
