Color Smart estimates sales of over EUR 500,000 for PPG ecological products by the end of the year

The sales of Pittsburgh Paints products, which are 100% ecological, will amount to more than 500,000 euros by the end of the year, estimates the Romanian company Color Smart Distribution, the exclusive importer and distributor in Romania and the Republic of Moldova of premium and premium plus brands Novacolor, Color Smart and Pittsburgh Paints.

“The turnover of the Color Smart business will be 30-35% higher in 2022, compared to last year. Of this increase, however, only a quarter will be due to the Pittsburgh Paints portfolio, and the rest of the forecasted increase will come from the existing portfolios of washable and decorative paints, glazes, and painting tools. We expect truly spectacular growth in 2023, when the Romanian consumer will already be familiar with the unique value offered by Pittsburgh Paints ecological products, especially since the consumers’ desire to protect the environment is growing and they will have enough practical examples of absolutely outstanding results from from which to be inspired”, said Cătălina Trupșor, CEO and founder of Color Smart.

Pittsburgh Paints, the number one worldwide American brand, with almost 140 years of experience in the interior design market, has over 2000 trademark colors in its portfolio, which can be reproduced in several types of finishes: matte, glossy, satin or eggshell. Pittsburgh Paints products offer great solutions for demanding and refined decorations in dark and matte colors, unlike the dark shades of paints from other sources, which cause problems in more than 90% of the layouts.

Currently, Color Smart has its proprietary locations in Bucharest, Constanța and Timișoara, and a network consisting of 12 distributors at national level: Cluj, Oradea, Craiova, Arad, Sibiu, Alba-Iulia, Râmnicu Vâlcea, Ploiești, Focșani, Bacău, Piatra Neamț, Brașov and is present in nine warehouses.

This year, the company has proposed to cover other important areas of the country such as Buzău, Galați-Brăila, Suceava-Botoșani, Iași, Hunedoara, Târgu-Jiu and Petroșani.
