Chairry announces EUR 1.1 million turnover in 2021

Chairry Design & Furniture, a fit-out company (complete interior design and furniture solutions), reaches a 1.1 million euros turnover in 2021, amid an effervescent market, especially in the HORECA sector, which registers a rapid recovery in the post-pandemic context.

For 2022, Chairry Design & Furniture aims to achieve a 3 million euros turnover, by expanding its activities in the office interiors, educational (public and private schools), as well as the medical sector (clinics and hospitals).

“In 2021, both hotels and restaurants invested in the re-design and redevelopment projects to be competitive in the post-pandemic reality. At the same time, many new restaurants were inaugurated, many with innovative concepts, as well as hotels – both international brands and locally – owned hotels.

We see the opportunity for growth in the fit-out market – mainly in the medical, educational, but also the office segment, given the recent relaxation of restrictions and the gradual return to the office that has already begun,” says Raluca Dorobanțu, Managing Partner, Chairry.

According to a company analysis, only in the hotel segment at least 10 new 4 and 5 star hotels have been inaugurated in the last year in Romania or are under course of delivery. Chairry Design & Furniture signed in 2021 over 3.500 square meters of interior spaces, including Trattoria Il Calcio, Ibis Hotel Timisoara, Golden Tulip Hotel Sibiu, Sinaia Hotel, the new Neuroaxis clinic in Bucharest, Enayati Medical City, Mall Vitan.

Which are the main interior design trends for 2022?

Social spacing solutions – such as interior partition panels or insulating cabins.
Design solutions that integrate sustainability elements – this year, the shining stars wood, glass, stone or metal, to suggest nature closeness and care for the environment.
Flexible, multifunctional spaces, taking into account the general work flexibility trend.

Recreational spaces for relaxation – with more and more space owners investing in the space users` wellbeing.
Interior gardens and integration of different forms of nature into interior spaces (materials and elements inspired by nature).
