Tradus: Top used commercial vehicles in Romania

Tradus.com, an online platform for used commercial vehicles with a global presence, presents the top of the most popular used commercial vehicles in Romania this year. 

The analysis was carried out in comparison with other European countries like Germany, Italy, Poland, and the Netherlands. In Romania, the first place is occupied by vans, the top being completed by heavy commercial trucks in second place and tractors in third place.

“Although in many European markets the public’s preference in the field of used equipment is to choose heavy commercial trucks over 3,5 tons, the Romanian market is very specific in preferences: it is the only country in our analysis where vans run the top of used commercial vehicles and this denotes a growing demand for efficient urban and intercity transport solutions at competitive prices. Moreover, transport machines are the most sought-after category in Romania as 55% of Romanian buyers come from this sector. The most wanted brands on the platform 

Being the largest buyer market in Europe for Tradus, Romania is a benchmark of preferences for sellers on the platform. Locally, the preference for German quality dominated the top this year as well: for both light commercial vehicles (vans) and heavy commercial trucks, 2 of the 3 brands in the top searches come from Germany:

To perform this analysis, Tradus evaluated the search behavior, clicks on offers, and contacting sellers on the platform. Currently, almost 30,000 used transport vehicles are listed on the online platform (from trucks to vans) and over 17.000 farming vehicles.
