GTM Managing Services launches Carfix, the app that 100% digitises and automates motor claims and risk inspections

GT Motive România launched Carfix, the Romanian car app that allows anyone to notify motor claims and better manage due dates and car documents directly from the phone. Following an investment of over 2 million RON, Carfix is the first app that 100% digitises the motor claim process and manages to reduce the time lost from a couple of days, to a couple of minutes. 

 

Through the app, motor claim is done in just three steps, directly from the mobile phone, and without having drivers make a special trip to file the damage claim. Carfix automatically guides the user through the claim assessment process, while data accuracy is secured using GPS coordinates.

But „Carfix is not just a digitized motor claim app”, says Sorin Iacob, CEO GTM Managing Services,  the company that developed the Carfix app. „Through the Carfix app, you can perform risk inspections, set up alerts for the expiration of insurance policies (CASCO or MTPL), mandatory technical inspection, road tax or even medical kit. Drivers can be more relaxed, because once they download the app and fill in their personal and car information, they will always have it in one place and they will be filled out automatically in the claim report”, he adds.

Carfix will also help insurance companies save hours with the motor claim processes, most of which being outsourced to the customer. Insurers can access all clients files in one screen and keep in touch using the app chat. Furthermore, using Carfix significantly reduces costs since it eliminates intermediaries, directs customers to its own network of partner users and provides additional services at a controlled cost.

 

With Carfix you can:

  • Request and receive compensation offers for self repair;
  • Eliminate bureaucracy and remotely sign documents needed for damage claims and risk inspections;
  • Automatically send and receive motor claim reports.

 

How does the app work? 

In case of an incident, car damage can be assesed in just 3 easy steps:

  1. Fill in the data about the other party involved and your data will be automatically filled out in the claim report;
  2. Tell us what happened and fill out the details about the event (location and time);
  3. Show us the car damage and take photos of the damaged parts, using the app’s templates.

 

Once you have checked the information, submit the request and then the entire procedure is taken over by the insurer.

 

The app is 100% free and can be downloaded from Google Play or Apple Store, but can also be accessed using the web version.
