Castrol: 8000 independent services are active on the Romanian market

There are 8000 independent services operating on the Romanian market, according to Castrol Romania and the number of services in the Castrol SERVICE network amounts to 220.

According to Castrol, among the biggest needs the entrepreneurs who have a service in Romania face are the need to recruit good staff, especially car mechanics, access to know-how and management systems.

In this context, Castrol has launched a comprehensive engine warranty scheme that aims to help independent workshops maximise customer satisfaction and retention. Castrol SERVICE workshops can now offer the 12-month or 15,000 miles Castrol Engine Warranty to customers when they have an oil change using Castrol lubricants. All costs for the new warranty are covered by Castrol – there is no charge to the customer or to the participating workshop.

This new warranty scheme means independent workshops can offer their customers a tangible additional benefit for having their car serviced using Castrol oil,” said Layla Yebaile, Head of Marketing Indirect Channel at Castrol. “There is no financial risk to the participating workshop should there be an issue with the engine following a service or oil change. It gives greater peace of mind to the customer, and provides another way for businesses to differentiate themselves.”

The reassurance of warranty cover is one of the main reasons that customers use franchised workshops and, through the Castrol Engine Warranty scheme, independent workshops can now offer a similar level of protection, with the backing of a well-known, trusted brand.
