Bucharest City Hall to provide vouchers worth EUR 2,000 to replace old cars with environmentally-friendly vehicles or household appliances

The Bucharest City Hall has published the rules for its program to stimulate the elimination of highly polluting vehicles from Bucharest traffic through eco-vouchers.

The municipality wants to offer a total of 5,000 vouchers with a value of EUR 2,000, which would be used to buy new EURO 6, non-diesel, hybrid or electric cars, as well as energy efficient household appliances, in exchange for a used car, according to a statement by the City Hall.
