Ascendis’ turnover hits record value of over EUR 7.2 million in 2017

Ascendis, the leader of training and consultancy in the organisational development sector in Romania, ended 2017 with a total turnover of EUR 7.26 million, a record for the company recorded in the year when it had its 20^th anniversary.

The growth is a result of the increase in the demand for training and teambuilding programmes. In 2017, these types of programmes for employees of corporations grew by 16 percent compared to 2016, and these divisions generated around 70 percent of the total business of the Ascendis group, with EUR 5.16 million.

In the same period, sales for foreign language courses grew by 13 percent, reaching EUR 1.1 million, and well-being programmes by 7 percent, reaching EUR 0.3 million. In addition from 2016, the digital marketing services of Ideologiq were added, and had a turnover of EUR 0.7 million.

Companies that have used the services of Ascendis consultants have invested in programmes that approach subjects such as: performance, communication and feedback, improving team work, negotiation, conflict management or creativity and innovation.

Currently, the Ascendis team is made up of 100 people, of which 70 are consultants, and the rest are part of the support team or have specific skills for teambuilding and conferences. Last year, the team added 20 people.
