AQUILA becomes ARIR’s Associate Member

ARIR (Romanian Association for Investor Relations), the promoter of the Investor Relations (IR) concept, announces that AQUILA, symbol AQ, becomes an Associate Member of ARIR. AQUILA is the market leader in the field of integrated distribution and logistics services for consumer goods, in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, with almost 30 years of experience in this industry, listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange since November 2021.

“We are listed for approximately one and a half years and we committed to gradually implementing tools that ensure easy access for investors and stakeholders to relevant information about our company, aiming for a fair value of our shares. We started as an entrepreneurial business, became a leader in our industry, and we intend to continue our development, the active presence in the capital market being essential to our plans. Shortly after listing, we were included in the BET index, the main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, and later in the FTSE Russell Global Micro Cap index, dedicated to emerging markets. We are joining ARIR for a new step in consolidating our Investor Relations activities, and we are confident that, together with the members of the community, we can contribute to the development of the capital market,” said Jean Dumitrescu, Investor Relations Director, AQUILA.

AQUILA operates in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, with an integrated business model, with activity in the following business segments: distribution, logistics, and transport. AQUILA sells consumer goods in over 67,000 points of sale across all FMCG retail channels, covering over 90% of the market. The company obtained the maximum score, 10, in the VEKTOR evaluation carried out by the Romanian Investor Relations Association – ARIR, based on 12 criteria regarding corporate governance and communication with investors.
