The state of Romanian agriculture will be the focus of the upcoming Business Review event Focus on Agriculture, an event taking place on May 23rd.
Romanian agriculture minister Sebastian Fuia will be a speaker at the first edition of this event, set to focus on topics such as: the potential of the local agriculture sector; the implications of the New Common Agricultural Policy (PAC) for Romania; ways to increase the absorption of European Funds for the agricultural sector.
Speakers at the event include Liviu Rusu, Food Safety director with the National Food Safety Association ANSVSA; Nicolae Hristea, president of AgroBiotechRom; Camelia Sucu, owner of Piata de Gros (a wholesale market for agricultural products in Bucharest); Veronica Toncea, general director of Fondul de Garantare a Creditului Rural (The Rural Credit Guarantee Fund); Marian Cioceanu, president of Bio Romania association; Cristian Onetiu, owner of BIO Logistic (a local distributor of bio products); Teodora Alecu, director with KPMG Romania, the Tax Department.
