Agricover, the agribusiness leader in Romania, announces the launch of version 2.0 of the CROP360 specialized digital agriculture platform 2 years after its initial launch.

We continue to invest and to provide farmers with modern technological solutions to optimize production costs and increase economic competitiveness. CROP360 is already present in 3000 partner farms, and the new version incorporates the feedback received from them, we came up today with an improved and easier to use product. We looked at the evolution of agricultural technologies, the benefits they have in optimizing resource consumption and we do believe that the use of digital farming solutions on a large scale in farms is an important pillar in the development of efficient and sustainable agriculture” said Liviu Dobre, Managing Director of Agricover Holding.

CROP360 is a digital platform that uses the latest highly performed global technologies provided through partnerships with Microsoft and ESRI in order to facilitate both improved farm efficiency and alignment with the requirements of the new EU agricultural policy.

CROP360 2.0 Enhanced user experience and new functionalities to optimize crop production

The new CROP360 version has been designed to be a more user-friendly on-farm solution, marking a number of changes that have been developed based on the previous experience of over 3000 farmers and the needs that have arisen in the use of CROP360 in the two years since its initial launch.

CROP360 2.0 has been redesigned to emphyasize the use of the multi-dimensional map of the farm, thus providing a quick understanding of plots, machinery and other essential information from planning crops to performing work or other necessary tasks related to each plot. With a better control over maps and just a few clicks, farmers can manage their farm plots more accurately and efficiently, with statistics and reports more readily available for easy data analysis. In this way, farmers can make informed and reasoned decisions. The new dashboards have been redesigned to provide a better and easier understanding of crop developments and the resources involved.

Administration of leases has also become more efficient. Besides the introduction of an intuitive editor, which allows farmers to add and modify the necessary information, there are also functionalities for electronic archiving and tracking of contracts through dedicated dashboards and in-app alerts.

Stock management and reporting to authorities are still available to farmers in the new version of the platform. Direct access from the application to the National Phytosanitary Authority platform provides farmers with timely information regarding the database of regulated products.

With the launch of the new CROP360 we are closer to achieving our goal of connecting today’s farmers with tomorrow‘s high-performance agriculture.
