2Performant (BVB: 2P), a technology company and leader in the Romanian affiliate marketing market, announces that in the first quarter of 2022 registered 11,926 unique users within its platform, a 36% increase compared to the same period last year.
The nearly 12,000 users sent 20.8 million clicks to 2Performant online stores, which resulted in 408,000 online sales, which amounted to 20.56 million euros, excluding VAT, and generated 1.38 million euros in commissions, up 52.4% compared to the first quarter of 2021.
“As of this year, in addition to the quarterly financial reports that we announced through the published financial calendar, we plan to posts a series of key results in our activity at the end of each quarter. Thus, in the first quarter of this year, on the 2Performant platform, the conversion rate was 1.96%, up 15.5% compared to the same period in 2021, while the average sales value remained similar at 50.42 euros without VAT. The average earnings of affiliates are also on an upward trend, being 6.62 euros per 100 clicks, which is an increase of 12.5% compared to the first quarter of last year. In terms of affiliate marketing budget performance, this remains high. Currently, each 1 euro invested by stores in commissions brings sales of 16.45 euros. This is determined by the efficiency of the affiliation in general and of 2Performant in particular for online stores,” stated Dorin Boerescu, Chairman of the Board and CEO of 2Performant.
The main category of users in the first quarter of 2022 was represented by affiliates, who totalized 10,572 users, an appreciation of 42% compared to the similar interval in 2021. The 2Performant platform, through which thousands of affiliates collaborate with hundreds of online stores, is still heavily used by users, generating 3,171,446 views of the platform. The affiliate interface holds the main share of these users, with over 2.7 million views in the first three months of 2022.
The main product categories sold in the first quarter of 2022 were: Books, Fashion, Pharmaceuticals, Beauty, Home & Garden, IT&C Electronics, Toys & Kids Products, Sports & Outdoors, Health & Personal Care, and Pet Supplies. During the analysed period, the first ten clients of 2Performant, according to the value of the commissions, were: Elefant, Answear, Dr. Max, Orange, Somproduct, FashionDays, Cărturești, NeaKaisa, Decathlon, and Nichiduță.
The results generated by 2Performant users are updated daily on the company’s website, which presents the trends in online shopping behavior both at the network level and broken down by major industries. The company intends to continue to publish such aggregate data at the end of each quarter so that shareholders and investors have a comprehensive understanding of the 2Performant’s business indicators over a year of operation.
2Perfomant is listed on the AeRO market as of December 9, 2020, and from October 2021, the 2P shares are included in the BET-AeRO index developed by the Bucharest Stock Exchange for this market. In 2021, the company recorded a turnover of 25.7 million lei, an increase of 27% compared to 2020. For 2022, 2Performant targets a turnover of 34.9 million lei, an increase of 35% compared to 2021.
