Sorin Preda (Global Vision) joins BR's Realty Forum 2022

Sorin Preda is the CEO and Founder of Global Vision, a real estate development and investment platform, with strategic projects across Romania and Central-Eastern Europe. Currently, the estimated total value of the under-development business parks, logistics hubs and industrial facilities placed in the proximity of very well-connected European cities reaches 700 Mil. EUR.

Sorin Preda’s leadership guided the metamorphosis of Global Vision from a local start-up (2004) to the fastest growing real estate entrepreneurship in Romania (2011) and finally, to a visionary regional player (2022).

Global Vision’s mission is to connect lagging regions of Romania to economic poles of growth, through strategic development projects that coherently integrate existing transport infrastructure with new modern extensions. The main objective is the fluent access from these projects to major European arterials transiting Romania and CEE. In the last years, Global Vision has developed major industrial and logistics projects in Romania, but also in Slovenia and Slovakia.

In 2019, Sorin Preda’s company launched the master-project Constanța Business Park (on a 100 Ha land plot), in the immediate proximity of the Black Sea and Port of Constanța, creating the extensive potential for a multidimensional and multimodal linkages within the business park to the port and the entire region, all related to logistics, strategic infrastructure, energy, defense systems for potential contingencies.

Sorin Preda was also invited to share his experience, knowledge, and vision as a leading speaker to prestigious conferences such as USA – CEE Investment Summit (2020), Business Diplomacy – Security and Prosperity at the Black Sea (2021), ALIANȚA Gala & Summit 2021, in Washington DC, or Turkish – Romanian Business Forum 2022, in Istanbul.

Prior to founding Global Vision, Sorin served in a variety of senior sales and marketing roles, having a proven executive management track record and over 10 years.
