Stay tuned, Romania’s premier Smart City online event is coming soon. The live-stream of Rising Cities. Smart Future 2020, BR’s annual Smart City conference will start at 10:00 AM with an insightful presentation by EIB Jasper experts on providing technical assistance to municipalities/local authorities to prepare EU funded projects.


The EIB Jasper presentation will be followed by the event’s powerful panels:

10:30 AM – Panel 1: Sustainable Future Cities

∙ Circular economy means recycling and reusing all materials and devices, but also a sustainable use of water. How can we use smart technology for efficient water consumption?
∙ How can utilities shape the future development of smart cities – smart infrastructure – smart buildings?
∙ Future cities will be shaped by technology and will also create challenges for both authorities and companies. Are we ready for the coming challenges?
∙ Smart & sustainable buildings: real estate developers are innovation drivers for urban growth, improving the lives of citizens and employees, wellbeing and safety;
∙ Sustainable infrastructure needs smart buildings: smart parking space for individual vehicles, smart public transportation to have stations close to office buildings that hosts many employees.
