An experienced financial professional, Iosif Popa has been with ANCOM for the past 18 years. Since 2011 he also serves as the Presidents’ Counsellor for Regulatory Affairs. Before joining The National Authority for Communications, Popa was a consultant for the European Commission Delegation in Romania (2002) and CFO at Socrates National Agency of Romania (1999-2002). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economy from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, and a Master’s Degree in International Relations & European Integration from the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA).
