She is an experienced Attorney at Law, Insolvency Practitioner, and Mediator, who also serves as an Ambassador and Mentor in the European Network of Female Entrepreneurship Ambassadors and the European Network of Mentors for Women Entrepreneurs, honours awarded by the European Commission.

“Many women entrepreneurs start their businesses without any education and then have to learn what a business is all about. I learned as a child that it is very important for young female entrepreneurs to have financial and economic education before starting a business. Entrepreneurial, financial and legal education is important to be done from the earliest possible age, and even if they don’t become businessmen, education will help them a lot in life”, says Nicoleta Munteanu.

What to expect at the second edition of Inspiring Voices

Empowering Women Leaders & Entrepreneurs: The business community has a stake in and is responsible for gender equality and women’s empowerment in the workplace, marketplace, and community. Empowering women is essential to the health and social development of communities, families, and countries. When women live safe and productive lives, they can reach their full potential, contributing their skills to the workforce and powering sustainable economies.

Around the world, women are key drivers of innovation growth. The private sector plays a crucial role in creating an environment where women can more meaningfully participate in the economy.

The event spotlights inspiring success stories of outstanding women leaders and entrepreneurs taking the lead in their companies. It highlights the importance of women’s leadership and decision-making in society, engaging on further eliminating the gender inequality issues met by women in the field of work.

We want to inspire you with our comprehensive topics and a relevant list of guest speakers presenting story cases and ideas to overcome most of the barriers that women usually encounter on the way to becoming leaders. Also, we would very much like to go in-depth analysing Romania’s business environment regarding gender equality, success achieved, and challenges, in order to make it a better place for women to grow and develop and to create new opportunities for women to become leaders.
