Valentin Bargau, Restart Energy: It’s important to have courage, to look at things differently than others

Attending the BR Awards, Valentin Bargau, Vice President of Corporate Operations at Restart Energy, spoke about the category they chose to award, Most Impactful Investment of the Year, and said that it is an important category that shows the importance of projects in development in the Romanian economy.

“We chose this category because investment, capital, is one of the very important factors for a company, a sector or an economy to grow. Together with the human resource, we believe that this element is part of a very important binomial, which we must increase, protect and thus create value. Value that we then see expressed in strong communities, a more flourishing business environment, a better education system and a better health system. In short, a better quality of life for all of us.

Complicated times always come with opportunities. Especially this year, for Romania, given the geopolitical context, as well as the local political context, because we have an election year, we think it is a good time to be cautious in the next steps we take in business. But, at the same time, let’s have the courage to approach the opportunities that will arise. It’s important to have courage, to look at things differently than others, and at the end of the day any startup investment can turn into a success story that can bring value not only to those who started the business, but also to the employees and the community in which they operate.”
