US Air Forces in Europe Band holds concerts across Romania

The US Air Forces in Europe Band, at the behest of the American Cultural Center, will hold a series of concerts in Bucharest, Galati, Braila, Buzau, Iasi and Suceava, between October 16 and 21. From the orchestra, the Clarinet Quartet and The Wings of Dixie Ensemble will perform excerpts composed by Vivaldi, Dvorak, Van der Roost, Bartok and Curtis, as well as traditional American music. Except for Bucharest, where the band will perform in Green Hours Jazz Café & Club (on Calea Victoriei 120), in all the other locations, attendance will be free of charge. Since 1943, the United States Air Forces in Europe Band has represented the US and its Air Force at the highest level of diplomatic, ceremonial, local and international community relations.
