Urban signs to give Bucharest its brand value

The project proposes to generate a series of urban signs that should become points of reference in Bucharest which is lacking in such elements. “We thought of Bucharest, which is a capital of 2008 and even more than that, a brand that needs modern urban signs. A modern sign, apart from the characteristics of being well-placed, explicit, suggestive (depending on the place that is signaled), is also a sign that is devised to draw attention, to be memorable, to become a benchmark both through its design and also the materials used,” says Ana-Maria Ionescu, a member of the Eltrix administration board.
This year's pilot of the program consists of a creation contest.
