Urban Report, a cross-cultural platform gathering theories and critical discourses about contemporary urban phenomena and architecture in four countries (Romania, Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria), was launched on December 10, to mark the end of the Bucharest Architecture Biennial. The aim of the project is to explore and predict the impact of political, economic and social changes taking place after 1989 (the fall of communist regimes in the area) on urban architecture. The initiative is financed by the Romanian Cultural Institute through the Cantemir Program. More information is available at www.urbanreport.ro.
The event also saw the launch of the Catalogue of the Bucharest Architecture Biennial, now available in Humanitas, Carture
