Fantastic characters from a magical world, nymphs, shamans, international acrobats, entertainers, and dancers, a realm of fairytales where you are invited to live unique experiences.

Magic doesn’t exist only in stories or if it does, that story is called UNTOLD. Every summer, hundreds of thousands of fans together write a new chapter in the most beautiful festival experience. For the 8th edition, the creators of UNTOLD present a captivating new creative concept, The Light Phoenix. During the four days of the festival, the city of Cluj-Napoca becomes the epicenter of music and magic, where each participant is invited to blend reality with imagination.

The official opening ceremony will offer Cluj-Arena fans a memorable show by the DJ ranked 4th in the Top 100 DJ Mag, Brazilian Alok.

During the four days and nights of the festival, the UNTOLD organizers have prepared a series of activations, with relaxation areas, food and drink zones, a real replica of a famous restaurant chain available at the festival, makeup sessions, a tattoo studio, VR experiences, thematic stages and workshops, and walking acts. From themed parties to unique experiences created in collaboration with festival partners, such as meet & greet sessions, live cooking, and food delivery service directly to the festival to not miss any of your favorite artists, everything is prepared to transform the festival days into memorable moments.

Festival fans will be greeted by fantastic characters, international acrobats, entertainers, cheerleaders, dancers, and drummers from Romania, France, Spain, the UK, and Germany. Acrobats on stilts, wearing costumes seemingly from another world, will bring the Phoenix closer to Earth, and the Tall Woman, who reigns accompanied by her faithful servants and guards, will lead the festival fans into a show, a fusion of street theater, interaction, and poetry. Another energetic and talented group of drummers coming from the typical Spanish carnival will light up the night with their energy, and artists covered in colorful wings will shine in the sun surrounded by oversized butterflies.

The experience offered by the charm of beautiful stilt angels is a specific experience of the Cluj-Napoca festival. These ethereal beings will present choreographies full of dynamic movements, acrobatics, and spectacular human pyramids that defy gravity. Fans will recharge with good energy alongside the Cheerleading Team of the Knights of Transylvania CCS Cluj-Napoca.

Experiences offered by festival commercial partners

The 2023 edition of the festival marks a European premiere. In partnership with Banca Transilvania and Visa, UNTOLD has launched the first animated virtual card in Europe – UNTOLD BT Visa. The card is limited edition, with a design inspired by the UNTOLD 2023 theme, The Light Phoenix. Another world reopens at UNTOLD: the virtual world. Festival participants have the opportunity to experience “5 minutes of freedom,” moments where desires come true, and adrenaline is felt to the fullest with an F18 flight simulator.

Crazy flavors and colorful cocktails from the rotating bar YOUR SOCIETY are the moments that the gang of dear and daring people seeks. Festival-goers can indulge in the finesse of drinks at the YOUR SOCIETY lounge area.

And now, as UNTOLD fans feel increasingly creative, the Coca-Cola music spot has prepared the latest-generation equipment for them to unleash their emotions. The challenges don’t stop there, as “Spin the wheel” tries the participants’ luck to win unique prizes. After a well-deserved success, a mini escapade in the enchanted forest of Coca-Cola becomes the perfect experience.

Within the realm of challenges, Mol tests driving skills through interactive simulators. Festival participants can compete in this race, which will end with special prizes. Convinced they can drive safely, the Autoworld car exhibition is the place that combines the automotive excellence of the latest generation vehicles with elegance.

The entire perimeter of the UNTOLD festival is dedicated to fun and games, and Fortuna invites you to explore this world of games, interactive challenges, and adrenaline.

Fans of artificial intelligence will meet the “Revocalize AI” software that will modify their voice live and help them sing their favorite songs with the voice of the artist they admire most, and the Ministry of National Defense will teach the curious about the world of robots, about the furry colleagues in the special teams known as “police dogs,” and about the tools for identifying explosive materials. For those interested in this brave field, the admission courses are already prepared!

The journey through the magical realm of UNTOLD continues with a simulation of the senses in the relaxation area, offered by Kozel. The celebration of flavors continues with exclusive beer tastings offered by the Masterclass of mixology, and the next stop is in the Ballantine’s area, with secret experiences from their laboratory.

The realm, which reveals its magic from August 3 to August 6, 2023, has prepared for fans a lounge area with a decor inspired by “One Thousand and One Nights,” where they will be welcomed by an artist, an expert in henna tattoos, after which they can dance with joy at the Redbull spot, and captivate fans with the well-known vibe offered by McDonald’s at the TRAM stage.

The special moments on the mainstage of the world’s biggest artists and DJs are captured on the exclusive platform offered by Globalworth.

A new form of entertainment and taste surprises is offered by WET, and the special drink Raspberry UNTOLD Edition guarantees you a one-way ticket through the simulated senses of the fabulous realm of the festival. One last olfactory journey can be experienced at My Geisha, where oriental scents unveil the mystery of the rose or the Sakura flowers.

Designers’ nest, with Romanian designers

And this year, the most appreciated Romanian designers are meeting at the UNTOLD festival. At Designers’ Nest, fans can find clothing, capsule collections, footwear, jewelry, and accessories made by over 30 Romanian designers. No outfit is a complete expression of one’s personality without makeup, hairstyle, or a cool pair of sunglasses or prescription glasses from the newest collection, which Lensa will present at the UNTOLD festival. A variety of options to match your favorite outfit with a bold temporary tattoo or perhaps a more discreet one are the steps trend enthusiasts can follow. The advice of the 10 makeup artists and hairstylists will create the desired final result so that fans can be the main characters in this unique UNTOLD realm.
