UNICEF gala to host select fashion show

The fall 2007-winter 2008 collections by Yves Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen and Roberto Cavalli will grace the catwalk at the Parliament Palace.
The event, which is expected to bring together top figures from the local political, diplomatic and business communities, will raise money for two UNICEF projects.
The first one will establish the first in-house dialysis department for children at the Fundeni Hospital in Bucharest, while the second will transform a maternity ward into a hospital.
The event will also host an auction of jewelry designed by Greek designer Ilias Lalaounis.
