Travel Channel airs documentary featuring Romania’s Carpathian area

The Travel Channel will start airing October 30th a documentary featuring Romania’s Carpathian area. The documentary, which is titled Wild Carpathia, is funded by the European Nature Trust TENT.

The TV production will take viewers through the breath-taking but little known mountains and forests of Carpathia, perhaps the last great wilderness in Europe, seen as never before. The region’s history and culture is explored starting from the mystical ruins of the ancient Dacian civilizations to its medieval communities, the heritage of which survives intact to this day. The documentary also features Prince Charles to find out why he has a special interest in the area.
