Tiesto spins the turntable once more in Romania

One of the most loved DJs of the world, Tiesto, is returning to Romania for an open-air gig that he will hold at Arenele Romane, on June 18. Tiesto has an important fan base in Romania and has been here on several other occasions.

The Tiesto concert is an event organized under The Mission concept and is part of the worldwide Tiesto’s Club Life 2011 Tour. The Dutch-born DJ Tijs Michiel Verwest, best known by his stage name Tiesto, is the first DJ to perform at the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics held in Athens, in 2004. Tiesto officially began his musical career in 1985 , when he became a resident DJ at several clubs in the Netherlands and has ever since held leading positions in the DjMag Top 100 and gained numerous trance and dance awards.
