“Our target is to reach a level of production of 60-63 cars per hour. Next year we want to have a total capacity of production of 350,000 units per year,” said Charles Morillo, the new manager of the Dacia factory. The carmaker produced almost 148,000 Logan cars in the first eight months of this year, compared with last year when total production was 177,000 units. According to company officials, next year Dacia will start production on two new models: the Logan Pick-up and a derivative model of the Sandero, which will be premiered at the International Auto Saloon in Frankfurt. Besides the Mioveni factory, the Logan is produced in another six locations: Casablanca, Moscow, Envigado (Columbia), Iran, Brasilia and India.
