The Neversea Festival, Day 1 – Over 65,000 Participants

Over 65,000 fans from Romania and abroad flocked to the shores of the Black Sea on the first day of the anniversary edition of the Neversea festival. The largest beach festival in Europe has turned into the center of fun by the seaside for people from Romania and beyond. The fifth edition of Neversea successfully offered a perfect mix of musical genres, and festivalgoers enjoyed the musical diversity, the sea, the sunrise, and a memorable experience with friends.

 

Lil Uzi Vert performed for the first time at Neversea, showcasing songs from his recent album. One of the highly anticipated international artists of the festival, the American rapper Lil Uzi Vert, was greeted with tremendous enthusiasm by Neversea fans. With a live show featuring his most famous songs like “XO Tour Lif3,” which holds a record-breaking number of Spotify streams with over 1.9 billion listens, “Suicide Doors,” “20 Min,” and tracks from his latest album, “Pink Tape,” released last week. Fans from the United States were delighted with the sound of his new material, where Lil Uzi Vert combines elements of rap and rock. He was impressed by the Neversea fans who presented him with an unexpected gift—a drawing of the artwork from his new album. “Romania, you’re incredible!” That’s how Lil Uzi Vert chose to thank the tens of thousands of fans who requested an encore. And they got it!

INNA took the stage with the world’s 4th ranked DJ, Alok. Alok, who holds the 4th spot in the Top 100 DJ Mag, was one of the premieres offered by the Neversea organizers for the anniversary edition. With a personalized stage setup, the Brazilian DJ captivated the audience with an energetic DJ Set. Making his debut at the festival on the shores of the Black Sea, Alok had a surprise for the festival fans. He invited INNA on stage, and together they performed the hit “It Don’t Matter.” It was an excellent moment that fans embraced warmly. INNA proudly carried the national flag and performed alongside the audience. Alok concluded his set on the mainstage with the words, “Neversea, you’re amazing, Romania, I love you!”

Australian artist Timmy Trumpet took the festival’s excitement to the next level. With a combination of classical music and EDM Big Room, Timmy Trumpet premiered his latest single, “Eternety,” at Neversea. He expressed his love for the Romanian audience, describing it as special, with beautiful energy that appreciates every moment of the festival. Timmy Trumpet’s wife, Anett, and Cosmin, a fan from Romania whom Trumpet called his “brother,” joined him on the mainstage. INNA and Grasu XXL headlined the first day of the Neversea festival, delivering outstanding performances. Each song performed by these beloved Romanian artists was accompanied by the voices of thousands of fans at the mainstage. Minelli, Regard, Partydul Kiss FM, Rareș, Adi Istrate, and Erika Isac completed the lineup on the Neversea mainstage.

The Balkaniada stage, one of the new additions for the anniversary edition of Neversea, was a resounding success from the first day of the festival. Carmen Chindriș and Taraful Rutenilor, Viorica and Ioniță & Taraful Clejanilor managed to gather fans of all ages at the Balkaniada stage, where they sang and danced along with their favorite artists. It was one of the most beautiful parties by the Black Sea.

Artists from The Ark, Daydreaming, Pachanga, and Retro completed the lineup for the first day of the Neversea experience. The Ark stage, designed especially for rap, trap, breakbeat, and dubstep enthusiasts, became a special place for fans to enjoy the performances of their favorite artists like ȘATRA B.E.N.Z, FC DNB, Nane, Rava, Amuly, and Azteca.

Emil Rengle had the opportunity to experience Ecstatic Dance, a global dance trend, for the first time at Neversea’s Daydreaming stage. The Daydreaming stage was the favorite spot for those who wanted to witness the sunrise with their favorite DJs, including PAAX (Tulum), Themba, Alex Twin, Pablo Pierro, Maya Mar, and Vizan.

Latin dance enthusiasts enjoyed the Latino experience at the Pachanga stage, one of the new stages at Neversea. The instructors from the largest Latin dance schools in the country taught fans the basic steps of bachata, salsa, samba, semba, and merengue.

Tonight, Arias will open the mainstage of the festival, followed by performances from Ștefania, Spike (Live), Lil Pump, Claptone, MORTEN, Tujamo. The sunrise at the mainstage will be captured with Steve Aoki and a highly anticipated moment for the fans, “Cake Me!”
