The boutique features a selection of outfits which represent a mix between classical outlines and modern details so that when accessorized properly, they can worn both as everyday and glam outfits.
The selection of brands was also designed to be a “mix and match” – even though they are different countries, they give a unified vision to the boutique.
The owner of the boutique is Julie Iacobescu, who explained how she got the idea of opening The Mews.
“At the Bread&Butter Fair in Barcelona in January 2007, the representatives of large brands were asking me details about the Romanian market. I realized that, although I have Romanian origins, I did not know anything about what was happening in the country, which made me do some research. Shortly I realized that I could fulfill my childhood dream, opening my own store,” she said.
The boutique came into being by following a concept created by FourIV, a branding agency in London. The furniture inside the boutique was brought from Paris, London, Copenhagen and New York.
