The Association Assamblage continues this year’s contemporary jewelry marathon with the most extensive event dedicated to jewelry in Bucharest – the 4th edition of Romanian Jewelry Week. Between October 4th and 8th, at the National Library of Romania, over 230 designers, schools, associations, and collectives from over 30 countries around the world are part of the ROJW 2023 selection, presenting thousands of original jewelry creations from Romania, the UK, the USA, Australia, France, Kuwait, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Italy, Greece, Mexico, Lithuania, Israel, Ukraine, Belgium, and many more. This year’s edition has already included two other successful events within ISHO Timișoara, part of the Timișoara European Capital of Culture 2023 program, as well as the first edition of the event in Chișinău at the National Museum of History of Moldova.
The central exhibition will open on Wednesday, October 4th, at 18:30 at the National Library of Romania and will be complemented by eight collective exhibitions, schools, and renowned international associations: Slovenian Jewelry Week, Plus One Collective, Legnica Silver Festival in Poland, ArtsThread in collaboration with Gucci, One and Three Collective, Precious Collective, and The Sense of Beauty Gallery, as well as the winners of the Timeless Jewelry competition organized by the National Art Museum in Brașov. A renowned international jury will award the prizes in this edition, with members including established representatives from some of the most important international organizations in the field of contemporary jewelry, such as the European Federation of Jewelry, the Jewelry Museum in Athens – Ilias Lalaounis, Legnica Silver Festival, and many more.
During October 7th-8th, these creations can also be purchased at the Romanian Jewelry Week Fair 2023, held at the National Library of Romania, featuring more than 60 contemporary jewelry designers.
