On October 15, 13 speakers from four countries will take part in the TedX conference to be organized in Bucharest.
Among the expected speakers, Raluca Ioana van-Staden, Best woman inventor of 2010, as nominated at the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, Romanian will share the story of her sensor that can detect cancer in less than 6 minutes. International perspectives of out of the box solutions are brought on stage by the social entrepreneur Arnoud Raskin, the founder of Lazy Town, Magnus Scheving, and the former New York Times journalist Eric Weiner, author of the Geography of Bliss.
An array of technology and physics will be presented by the MIT professor Adrian Bejan and the NASA researcher Andrian Stoica, who will meet the arts and culture perspectives delivered by Catalin Stefanescu and Oana Pellea.
Other interesting life stories will be those of Nick Halik, who has had dinner on the Titanic, Andrei Rosu, known for running a marathon at the North Pole, leading Romanian youth abroad as Radu Tatucu, car designer Mihai Panaitescu, as well as Romanian dentist Roland Hermann servicing communities in Rwanda
